I had cataract surgery in both eyes in 2011. These are the only polarized, bi-focal sunglasses I have been able to find that are of wrap-around poly-carbonate construction, and that I can wear on a job-site. They may not be certified as safety-glasses, but they certainly perform as such. I have worn them every day, in all weather conditions, and find them to be highly scratch resistant. Each pair lasts me about 2 years, and I buy them 2 at a time (in case I lose one). nion they provide excellent value, durability, and vision.
