Making Your Eyeglasses Last
Sep 5th 2017
Prescription eyeglasses are generally for everyday, anytime wear. Thus, we need them to last as long as possible through all the accidents that could happen. It is not uncommon for glasses to be dropped, get scratched while being put inside something, and taken out of a bag, etc.
Make your eyeglasses last longer between your prescription updates.
Invest in cases.: It may seem as though a glasses case is merely another item for which you need to make room in a bag. However, if you go between your glasses and contacts, or you only need your glasses at certain times, and you know you must put your glasses away in a place where they might be scratched, cases can save them. Your glasses could also be bent when they’re in your bag. A hard case could save you from this problem. If you don’t put your glasses in anything, but place them on a table, where they sit for long periods, they may collect dust. Go ahead and invest in a good protective case for your glasses.
Pick the safest places.: Life does not always go as you planned, but it is sometimes still worth trying to plan ahead. If you take note of safe places to put your glasses, not only will your glasses be safer, you’ll be less likely to lose your glasses.
Have a backup pair.: It never hurts to have a second pair in case your plans to protect the first fail. Plenty of places offer affordable pairs of glasses, or specials if you purchase more than one pair. Having a backup makes certain you’re never without glasses, should something happen.
Check out all we have to offer at Speert. You can find your glasses, backup pairs, cases, and much more to make your life with glasses easier, and less expensive.
